Voluntary Qualification

Do you want to upgrade or obtain recognition for your skills in your trade? You can obtain a certificate of vocational qualification or an attestation of competency by taking part in a voluntary qualification program.

Voluntary qualification is adapted to the real-life labour market and offers solutions that can meet your needs.

Sectoral workforce committees and Emploi-Québec have developed:

• skills development and on-the-job training programs
• an approach for recognizing experienced workers' skills
• vocational standards and conditions for obtaining certificates of vocational qualification

The Workplace Apprenticeship Program allows you to acquire experience by carrying out the duties for a given trade, on-the-job.
