First Nations and Inuit Employment Integration Program (PAIPNI)

Who is this program designed for?

The First Nations and Inuit Employment Integration Program (PAIPNI) grants financial assistance to all types of businesses operating in Québec, except public bodies and political organizations. Employers are required to provide the necessary oversight. 

Financial assistance granted

There are 4 components to the financial assistance granted: 

  1. A wage subsidy for integrating workers (the subsidy is granted for a maximum of 52 weeks)
  2. A wage subsidy for providing hirees with coaching and assistance
  3. Financial support to compensate for additional expenses incurred in order to create or adapt human resources management tools that take into account the specific characteristics of workers from other work cultures
  4. Financial support to compensate for expenses directly incurred to provide hirees with additional training
